• Dress appropriately
for work (closed toed shoes, lab coat, name badge).
• Follow and be an example of proper laboratory safety rules (see rule
sheet).
• Be responsible for filling out and turning in time cards on time.
• Attend Chemical Hygiene Plan training.
• Be evaluated at the end of the semester by the laboratory instructor,
laboratory technician, or lab coordinator on their work efforts.
• Wash dishware appropriately, according to the individual lab instructions.
• Put away clean dishware.
• Keep the dishwashing area neat and clean.
•
Set up clean soapy water containers for “soaking” of glassware
between scheduled washing times.
• Check all dishwashing areas for items to be washed or area to be cleaned.
• Notify the lab coordinator or chemistry stockroom manager of items that
need to be reordered.
• Other duties as assigned by the lab coordinator, chemistry stockroom
manager, lab technician, or instructors.
