eCompanion: Login Directions
If an eSupport class has been set up for your face-to-face class you can follow the directions below to access this part of your class (see below if you can login but your course does not appear):
- Go to the website http://Online.apu.edu
- Click the "Login" button on the left side of the screen.
- You will enter your Student ID number in the XXX-XX-XXXX format. Please note: the university does not use SSN any longer for Student ID numbers. FIRST TIME USERS: Your password is your first name, first letter capitalized. IF YOU'VE BEEN TO ONLINE.APU.EDU BEFORE: Your password is the same as it was during your last online or eSupport class.
- Click Go to Class.
- Click on the tab at the top of the page "User Profile" and update your email address and password.
If the system does not recognize your username and password:
- Go to the website http://Online.apu.edu
- Click "Apply/Enroll"
- Click on the link to get into an "APUeSupport Course"
- Select the level of the course in which you wish to enroll (Undergrad, Grad, ADP).
- Fill in the requested information. When asked for a Student Number use your Student ID number which is in the XXX-XX-XXXX format. All students are given a number which is on all correspondence from the university. You should not use your Social Security number.
- Select the term which your course is offered in, and click "Continue."
- You can now select the course that you are taking to access its online site.
- If the system says this login is not unique please follow the directions at the top of this sheet carefully once more, if still not working contact Andrew Jittu at ajittu@apu.edu.
If you can LOGIN but your class DOES NOT appear:
- Login with your student ID and password
- Click on the "Add/Drop" tab at the top of the page
- Select which level class (Undergrad, Grad) you are taking
- Select the term you are currently in (ie: eCompanion Grad Spring 1)
- Select to "Add" a course (clicking on drop will not drop you from the registrar's, you have to drop all classes officially through them)
- Select the course you wish to add and click continue
- Click back on "Enrolled Courses" when finished and you'll see your course.
