Junior ~ 6-1 ~ Outside Hitter ~ Visalia, California
Junior outside hitter Meghan Warkentin had 79 kills (5.64 k/g) with a .392 hitting percentage as NAIA No. 11-ranked Biola won all 4 of its matches at the Crowne Plaza Labor Day Festival hosted by Concordia CA.  She also had 40 digs (2.86 d/g), 6 aces, 4 assist blocks, and 3 assists.  In the sweep of Olivet Nazarene, she had 17 kills and 2 aces. Warkentin had a season-high 28 kills, 11 digs, and 3 assist blocks in the 5-game win over No. 6 Albertson ID. On the following day, she recorded 16 and 18 kills, respectively against Great Falls MT and Westminster UT, both ranked in the Top-25, as Biola swept both teams.  Warkentin was selected as the NAIA Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Junior ~ 6-0 ~ Setter ~ Shen Yang, China
Junior setter Shu Liu tallied 164 assists (13.67 a/g), 32 digs (2.67 d/g), 10 kills, 3 assist blocks, and an ace as NAIA No. 2-ranked Fresno Pacific won all 4 matches in the Concordia Labor Day Festival, including 3 against nationally ranked opponents.  In the sweep of College of the Ozarks MO, she had 21 assists in 2 games.  In the 3-game win over No. 10 Savannah Art & Design GA, Shu Liu had 36 assists and 5 kills.  She recorded 69 assists  and 15 digs in the Sunbirds' 4-game defeat of No. 25 Westminster.  Finally Shu Liu had 38 assists and 9 digs as Fresno Pacific swept No. 6 Albertson ID.  Shu Liu was chosen as the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Senior ~ 5-7 ~ Libero ~ San Carlos, California
Senior libero Malinda Reese registered 159 digs (8.83 d/g) and 3 aces as Westmont split its 4 matches in the Labor Day Festival hosted by Concordia CA. 
Reese tied the school record of 44 digs in the win against Olivet Nazarene IL in the first match and then broke the record with 55 digs in the 5-game loss to No. 19 Doane NE. She also had 35 digs in the win over No. 14 Northwestern IA and 25 in the loss to Montana Tech.  Her pass percentage for the four matches was .944.  Reese was named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Senior ~ 6-0 ~ Outside Hitter ~ Limon, Costa Rica

Senior outside hitter Verania Wilis tallied 58 kills (7.25 k/g) with a .376 hitting percentage, 29 digs (3.6 d/g), 5 assist blocks and 2 assists as No. 3-ranked California Baptist split its GSAC matches last week.  In the sweep at The Master's, she had 18 kills and 13 digs.  In a 5-game loss to No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific, Willis had a school-record 40 kills (8.0 k/g) and moved into second place on CBU's career chart with 1,343 kills.  Willis was named the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

ALLISON KINCHELOE ~ Azusa Pacific University
Junior ~ 5-10 ~ Setter ~ Irvine, California
Junior setter Allison Kincheloe helped orchestrate Azusa Pacific's rally from 2 games down to force a fifth game on the road against the NAIA's top-ranked Fresno Pacific, finishing with 49 assists and 10 digs. In a 4-game win at The Master's, she recorded 66 assists (16.5 per game) and added 15 digs.  Kincheloe was chosen as the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Sophomore ~ 5-9 ~ Libero ~ Three Rivers, California
Sophomore libero Tiffany Marinos registered 58 digs (4.5 d/g) and an ace as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific defeated NAIA top ten-ranked GSAC opponents No. 8 Azusa Pacific at home and No. 3 California Baptist on the road. 
Marinos was selected as the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Senior outside hitter Yudelka Bonilla registered 43 kills (3.6 k/g) with a .311 hitting percentage, 61 digs (5.1 d/g), 6 assist blocks, and 3 aces as No. 3-ranked California Baptist won all 3 of its matches last week, beating No. 2 Concordia, NCAA Division II No. 1-ranked Cal State San Bernardino, and Hope International.   In the win at Concordia, she had 10 kills and 17 digs.  In the victory over Cal State San Bernardino, Bonilla had 18 kills, 24 digs, 3 aces, and 2 assists.  Finally against Hope International, she had 15 kills, 20 digs, and 2 assist blocks.  Bonilla was chosen NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn helped California Baptist win all 3 of its matches last week with 128 assists (10.7 a/g), 19 digs, 4 aces, 4 kills, and an assist block.  Her top performance was 53 assists, 2 kills, and an ace in the 4-game win at No. 2-ranked Concordia.  Van Duyn was selected as the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Sophomore libero Malinda Reese posted 82 serve receptions without an error last week, including 55 on the road against top-ranked Fresno Pacific. She also tallied 70 digs (10.0 d/g) for the week. The only error recorded against her last week was one of 25 serve attempts. In the game against The Master's, Reese surpassed the 2,000 digs mark and has extended her Westmont record to 2,057. Reese leads the nation with 8.46 digs per game.  Reese was named the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Junior outside hitter Traci Weamer recorded back-to-back double-doubles as No. 3-ranked Concordia won both of its conference matches last week.  For the week, she tallied 27 kills (3.9 k/g) with a .271 hitting percentage, 35 digs (5.0 d/g), 2 assists, 2 aces, and 5 assist blocks.  In the win against No. 17 Vanguard, she had 16 kills and 19 digs.  Then on the road at Biola, Weamer had 11 kills and 16 digs.  Weamer was selected as the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn tallied 89 assists (12.7 a/g), 18 digs, 3 kills, and 5 assist blocks as No. 2-ranked California Baptist won both of its GSAC matches on the road last week.  She had 49 assists in the 3-game sweep at Westmont, and 40 assists in the 5-game match at Azusa Pacific.

Sophomore libero Chelsea Scott registered 33 digs (
4.7 d/g) as Concordia won both of its matches over nationally-ranked GSAC opponents.  She had a .908 passing percentage and a .970 serve reception percentage.  Scott's passing percentage for the season is over .900.  Scott was chosen as the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Junior outside hitter Kelsey Mitchell had 33 kills and a combined hitting percentage of .547 in 3 matches as No. 5 Biola went 2-1 for the week. She also had 5 aces, 7 digs, and 3 assist blocks.  In the sweep of No. 4-ranked National American SD, Mitchell had 11 kills in 14 attacks without an error, adding 4 aces and 2 blocks. She followed that with a 13-kill, 1-error performance in a 3-game win over The Master's.  Mitchell was named the NAIA Region II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Junior setter Shu Liu tallied 112 assists (12.4 a/g) with 15 kills with a .522 hitting percentage, 18 digs, 5 blocks (1 solo) and an ace as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won all 3 of its matches against ranked teams without losing a game.  Shu Liu was chosen as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Senior libero Jill Konderik recorded 66 digs (7.3 d/g) in Point Loma's volleyball matches last week.  She had 2 aces with no serving errors and had a .958 serve reception percentage.  Her 36 digs against Azusa Pacific was a career high and only 1 short of the school record.  Konderik was selected as the NAIA Region II Volleyball LIbero of the Week.

Junior outside hitter Laura Trudelle had 34 kills (4.25 k/g) with a .389 hitting percentage, with 14 digs, 2 blocks (1 solo) and 1 ace as Westmont won both of its conference matches last week.  Trudelle led Westmont to an upset of No. 8-ranked Point Loma Nazarene with a .486 hitting percentage, 20 kills, 17 serve receptions with only 1 error, and 9 digs.  Trudelle was named the NAIA Region II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn had 98 assists (14.0 a/g), 16 digs (2.3 d/g), 2 kills and 2 aces as No. 2-ranked California Baptist won both of its matches against ranked GSAC teams last week.  She recorded 49 assists in the 4-game win at No. 16 Vanguard and another 49 assists in the 3-game victory over No. 4 Biola.  Van Duyn was chosen as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Junior libero for California Baptist, Katrina Clark tallied 36 digs (5.1 d/g) against 2 top-25 NAIA teams, including a sweep of No. 4-ranked Biola.  For the week, she had a serve reception percentage of 1.000 with no errors in 66 attempts and a .931 serving percentage with 2 aces.  Clark was selected as the NAIA Region II Volleyball LIbero of the Week.

Senior outside hitter Fabiana Leomil recorded 29 kills (4.8 k/g) with a .371 hitting percentage, 15 digs (2.5 d/g), 3 aces, and 6 blocks (1 solo) as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won both of its conference games and remained undefeated.  In the win at No. 6 Azusa Pacific, she had 12 kills, 2 aces, and 3 assist blocks.  In the victory over No. 2 California Baptist, Leomil had 17 kills, 11 digs, and 3 blocks (1 solo).  Leomil was named the NAIA Region II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Junior setter Shu Liu had 68 assists (11.3 a/g), 24 digs (4.0 d/g), 2 blocks (1 solo), and 13 kills (2.2 k/g) with a .524 hitting percentage in NAIA top-ranked Fresno Pacific's 3-game sweeps of top-10 ranked GSAC opponents.  In the win at No. 6 Azusa Pacific, Shu Liu had 35 assists, 6 kills, and 12 digs.  Against No. 2 California Baptist, she had 33 assists, 7 kills, 12 digs, and an ace.  Shu Liu was chosen as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Sophomore outside hitter Jen Michaelson registered 27 kills (3.4 k/g) with a .281 hitting percentage, 52 digs (6.5 d/g), 3 assist blocks, and an ace as No. 10-ranked Point Loma Nazarene won both of its conference games.  In the win over No. 15 Vanguard, she had 11 kills and 18 digs.  In the upset of No. 4 Biola, Michaelson had 16 kills, 34 digs, and 2 assist blocks.  Michaelson was chosen as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn had 79 assists (15.8 a/g), 11 digs (2.2 d/g), and 5 kills with a .714 hitting percentage as No. 2-ranked California Baptist swept both of its GSAC opponents in 3 games.  In the win over No. 3 Concordia, she had 48 assists (16.0 a/g) and 8 digs.  Then at Hope International, Van Duyn had 31 assists (15.5 a/g) and 3 digs in 2 games of play. Van Duyn was selected as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Sophomore opposite hitter Shi Fei tallied 39 kills (6.5 k/g) with a .373 hitting percentage, 16 digs, 4 assist blocks, and an ace as No. 2-ranked California Baptist swept both of its GSAC opponents.  In the victory over Azusa Pacific, she had 20 kills (6.7 k/g) and 9 digs.  In the win against Westmont, Shi Fei had 19 kills (6.3 k/g), 7 digs, and 3 assist blocks.  Shi Fei was named the NAIA Region II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Sophomore setter Abbie Wright registered 121 assists (8.1 a/g), 39 digs (2.6 d/g), 5 aces, and 2 blocks (1 solo) as No. 4-ranked Biola won all 5 of its matches last week without losing a game.  In Biola's only conference match-up against Hope International, she had 28 assists, 10 digs and 2 aces.  In the 4-match tournament hosted by Madonna MI, Wright had 93 assists (7.8 a/g), 29 digs (2.4 d/g) and 3 aces.

Sophomore libero Katie Stevens had a strong week, averaging 6.04 digs per contest and made just one receiving error as No. 4 Biola swept all 5 of its matches last week. Against Hope International, Stevens had a season-high 28 digs (9.3 d/g) in 3 games. She tallied 63 digs in 4 matches at the tournament hosted by Madonna MI.

Sophomore ~ 6-2 ~ Outside Hitter ~ Turlock, California

Sophomore outside hitter Jill Baker recorded 64 kills (6.4 k/g), 42 digs (4.2 d/g), 7 blocks (3 solo), and 2 aces as No. 5-ranked Azusa Pacific won all 3 of its conference matches last week.  She had 12 kills in 2 games against San Diego Christian and 24 kills (8.0 k/g) in a sweep of The Master's.  Baker recorded 5 of her match-high 28 kills in an errorless 15-5 fifth-game win against No. 8 Point Loma Nazarene. In the victory, Baker's 86 attempts broke her own school single-match record of 80 set last year. She also had 26 digs (5.2 d/g) , 2 aces, and 5 blocks (3 solo) in the match.  Baker has recorded 20 or more kills in 11 of the past 22 matches.  Baker was named the NAIA Region II Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Junior setter Allison Kincheloe, Azusa Pacific's all-time assists leader, picked up 161 assists (14.6 a/g) while setting up a Cougar offense that hit at a .238 percentage in 3 GSAC wins last week. Kincheloe was the Cougars' digs leader for the week with 54 digs (4.9 d/g) and had 5 aces and 3 kills.  She registered a team-high 26 digs in the 5-game win over No. 8-ranked Point Loma Nazarene.

In addition to notching 50 digs (4.55 d/g) in 3 GSAC wins, senior libero Alison Pattison handled 83 serves with just 2 reception errors (.976). She also served an Azusa Pacific team-high 6 aces on the week, including 3 aces in 26 errorless serves in a 5-game win over No. 8-ranked Point Loma Nazarene.  Pattison was selected as the NAIA Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Senior outside hitter Verania Willis recorded 56 kills to average 8 kills per game, with a .448 hitting percentage, and had 21 digs (3.0 d/g) and 2 assist blocks, as No. 2 California Baptist closed the regular season with 2 conference wins.  In the 3-game sweep of No. 16 Vanguard, she had 21 kills and 8 digs.  Then in the win at No. 4 Biola, Willis had 35 kills (8.75 k/g) and 13 digs.

Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn was named GSAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for the fifth time this season, after No. 2 California Baptist defeated two ranked GSAC teams.  She tallied 100 assists (14.3 a/g), with 7 digs, 4 kills, and 6 assist blocks.

Sophomore libero Tiffany Marinos registered 44 digs (6.3 d/g) as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won its final 2 conference matches.  She had no errors in 49 serve receptions attempts and had only 1 error in 37 serve attempts for a .973 percentage.  Fresno Pacific earned its eighth straight GSAC title and its 14th overall since the conference began in the fall of 1986.
