Senior outside hitter Verania Willis recorded 56 kills to average 8 kills per game, with a .448 hitting percentage, and had 21 digs (3.0 d/g) and 2 assist blocks, as No. 2 California Baptist closed the regular season with 2 conference wins.  In the 3-game sweep of No. 16 Vanguard, she had 21 kills and 8 digs.  Then in the win at No. 4 Biola, Willis had 35 kills (8.75 k/g) and 13 digs.


VOLLEYBALL SETTER
KAYLA VAN DUYN ~ California Baptist University
Senior ~ 5-10 ~ Setter ~ Ripon, California
Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn was named GSAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for the fifth time this season, after No. 2 California Baptist defeated two ranked GSAC teams.  She tallied 100 assists (14.3 a/g), with 7 digs, 4 kills, and 6 assist blocks.

Sophomore ~ 5-9 ~ Libero ~ Three Rivers, California
Sophomore libero Tiffany Marinos registered 44 digs (6.3 d/g) as No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific won its final 2 conference matches.  She had no errors in 49 serve receptions attempts and had only 1 error in 37 serve attempts for a .973 percentage.  Fresno Pacific earned its eighth straight GSAC title and its 14th overall since the conference began in the fall of 1986.
